It was warm, sunny, with blue skies and it felt magnificent.
We could see for miles and the clouds moved fast, obscuring and then revealing treasures like the cairn atop Lochnagar and the ski lifts at Glenshee
If you've never been to Scotland, here are some images I can see every day. I see them now with NEW EYES because they're not just short-lived holiday snaps. The surroundings are mine for keeps: I appreciate them so much after 54 years of living in the dry, dusty, busy south-east of England. Don't let anyone (especially me) take these beautiful scenes for granted, nor harm them in any way.
